A recent survey performed by 24 Hour Fitness said that “80% of people say they are more likely to work out if they have a partner”. This is further supported by a study performed by Penn State researchers stating that simply having a supportive friend, or significant other, to work out with makes you more likely to stick with your fitness regimen. I know from personal experience that it’s hard to rely on friends to always be there when you’re ready and willing to do the work, and that’s why my “style” of training is a little different from most trainers. I will do much of the work along with you. I have found that my clients are much more motivated, willing, encouraged to do the work, and it also helps them to see the correct form.
